The day kicked off with a match between the Golden Eagles and Latikas – the clash of our beloved and popular Wild Card Entries. Latikas won their first Round 2 victory with 5-3, 5-4. The high-scorers were “centre-shot” Aruna (8) and the “relentless” Swathi (7).
In a match where the defenders of both sides were having a nervous breakdown, It’s All Skill won 5-2, 5-3 against Foorious, in spite of Roopesh having scored 3 very smart and “sidey” goals. Vipin was the high-scorer of the game with 7 goals.
Mummy with Half Paddle and The Pseudo Foo Fighters were unable to play today because CK and Kavita were absent. However, we are sure to see them kicking the proverbial enemy’s butt soon enough.
Like it’s said, “keep the best for the last”. The last match of the day turned out to be a truly nail-biting one, with the Twisted Sides giving Silent But Deadly a tough run for their money. Twisted Sides won 3-5, 5-2, 5-3. Liju and Venu were the high-scorers with 7 and 6 goals respectively.
